BCAS Butterfly Walk at Wayawanda State Park

A Bergen County Audubon Society butterfly walk field trip to Wayawanda State Park, in Hewitt NJ.
The weather was great but the butterflies were scarce to nonexistent, and if they were seen flying they never paused to be photographed making identification difficult. Some photos of a nice day getting outside follow.

A Field Trip with the Bergen County Audubon Society to the Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus, New Jersey. Lots of egrets to photograph, among other shore birds.

Solo walk
A short walk at Dekorte Park in the morning. Many Egrets to be seen although there were more earlier as we were told by Chris another BCAS member who was leaving as we arrived.

Solo walk
I visit Dekorte park regularly as it's one of the closest and has interesting trails to walk, observe and get some exercise.
